Fornasetti. Designer of Dreams

A beautiful hardback book and dustjacket, published in 1991 to coincide with an exhibition held at the Victoria and Albert museum in London, 288 pages with over 600 lavish illustrations of which 116 are in colour. Fornasetti worked in many different mediums, this book presents his work under six headings: drawings, graphics, architecture, trompe l'oeil, themes and variations, and nature. His career spanned half a century during which he created a style which was all his own and can be easily recognised, - a style which was based over the years on endless variations of different themes such as the sun, playing cards, fish, flowers and trompe l'oeil.
