This book was published ijn 1950 so can be viewed as a record of the earlier years. It was in the 1930' and 1940's that it employed designers such as George Nelson, Charles Eames, Isamu Noguchi and Paul Lazlo and it was during these years that they designed and produced some of the world's most iconic pieces of modern furniture, including the Noguchi table, the Eames lounge chair and the Marshmallow sofa.
